Official Opening a Success

Jeff Talks Beer on the BBC

I was invited as a local producer to talk Beer with Nicki Whiteman on BBC Radio Berkshire last Saturday morning.  If you missed it, you can download a copy of it here: BBCRadioBerks  We talked about some myths about Americans and Beer and why Henley Gold may save you from a hangover.  We also tasted our three beers (at 8:30 a.m.) and talked about which ones paired with the other local produce on offer that day. 

Upcoming Events for Your Diary

1st December - Healthy Deli Wine, Beer and Cheese Tasting Evening

Jonny and Sophie from the Henley Healthy Deli are holding a Wine, Beer and Cheese tasting evening in the Margaret Day room in Henley Saturday 19:00 on the 1st December.  One of their wine experts will be walking through a selection of their wines and I will lead a tasting of our 3 beers as well as tasting some local cheeses.  For more information call Jonny or Sophie on 01491 571 711

7^th December – Henley Christmas Night

A great night out in Henley, if you haven't experienced it.  This year our stall will be in the Market Place, across from Threshers and Bloc.  There will be free samples of all our beers available and you can also buy a pint if you wish.  You can use the opportunity to start your Christmas shopping by purchasing our gift 3 pack and we will also be taking Christmas orders for our new Party 9's.  The night starts at 17:30, with the Christmas tree lighting at 19:00.  We hope to see you there!

In the Shop

If you haven't been in the shop to visit yet, we are open on Saturdays 11:00-17:00.  There are free samples available, including some future products that we are working on...including a 8.5% wheat wine/mead.  Bottles of the three main beers are available for takeaway in 3 and 8 packs and we also have 9 pint/5 litre containers for your parties (Party 9's).  To avoid disappointment on the Party 9's, please email me with your order prior to Saturday.
