| Happy Valentines Day | ||
| It has
been a while since I've sent out a newsletter.
No, we haven't closed up shop due to the biting
recession. Nor have we just given up because
of a little snow...we've just been busy...thanks for
all your support leading up to Christmas and so far
this new year... ...why don't you come in on Saturday and give your loved one the gift of Lovibonds this Valentines Day. |

| Lovibonds Gold Reserve | ||
|
Our Wheat Wine is now in the bottle and available at the shop.
To create Lovibonds Gold Reserve (7.3%) we bumped up the wheat
from our base Henley Gold recipe and added over 50kg of honey to
the mix.
We hand bottled only 500 (75cl) bottles of this nectar, each individually numbered with the crown hand dipped in wax. We're really proud of this dangerously drinkable treat. Get them while they last! |

| "A Beer a Day" - We're in it! | ||
| Well
known beer writer Jeff Evans was kind enough to
include us in his most recent book, "A
Beer a Day". The book pairs
notable dates in history with world famous beers. March 26 has been declared Henley Amber day, as this is the day that the Henley Royal Regatta was conceived back in 1839. Despite my efforts to proof read the copy, Jeff made some incorrect comments about how we brew our beer, but hey, we forgive him. He does rightly state that Henley Amber tastes nothing like Brakspear Bitter and that he's glad there is some 'colour' (Do you get the pun?) back in the Henley brewing scene. We have a few copies of the book in the shop if you would like to see what you think of Jeff's other 365 choices...£17, £15 for CAMRA members. |

Axe the Beer Tax! We have a rule that we don't talk politics in the brewery, so forgive me for bringing this up. There is group of people fighting against Alastair Darling's pledge to raise beer tax (again)...It only takes two seconds to pledge your support, please click here. |

| Another place to drink Lovibonds. | ||
|
The
Chequers at Burcot This building has been an Inn for over 400 years. You can now enjoy a pint of Henley Gold with the fine food and service that Steve and Laura put on. |
