| Become Famous with Us! | ||
| For those of you
that live locally, we need your help this coming
Friday (26/6) night between 17:00-18:00 at
our shop in Henley. Here is your chance to become famous as we need some extras for our first Lovibonds film production. Refreshment will be provided. |

| Hop Watch 2009 | ||
| The hops have grown
so much that we no longer have a ladder big enough
to train them up the side of the building, so we
have just left them to do their own thing. It is at this time of year that we get to see mother nature in action. For years I thought this bug was some sort of evil creature determined to do harm to my hops. It turns out that this is just a beautiful lady bird/bug in its larva stage. Lady bird larva and adult lady birds can consume up to 5000 aphids in their lifetime and they have now descended upon our hop yard en masse, providing a natural alternative to harmful pesticides. Stay tuned to forthcoming newsletters as we will announce the date of this year's Open Brew Day You will have the chance to help pick the hops in our yard and take part in the brewing of this years Henley Harvest ale. |

We are proud to support the
Henley Fringe Festival
again this year. We will be transforming our tasting room
into a comedy club as well as supplying refreshment to other
locations during the week. This year we will be hosting two sketch comedy performances: |

Thames Valley Pop Up Sketchbook
& Helen Terry Come join us for local sketch comedy, written and performed by Reading's premier writing group, 'The Reading Berks'. Also, Helen Terry presents Helen O'Troy a surreal take on the beauty industry. Show starts nightly (22nd-25th July) 19:30-20:45. TeakShow returns to
Lovibonds with their fast paced sketch comedy. TeakShow
will leave you scarred, breathless and crying for your mum.
