Henley Dark takes Silver Medal

Henley Dark was awarded a Silver Medal in the bottled beer category at last week’s Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) regional competition.  Up against 86 other bottled beers, Henley Dark scored only one point behind the winning Burton Bridge EPA.

Party 9’s for Xmas

We have an additional keg format available for all your parties.  All Lovibonds beers will be available in the easy to use 5 litre (9 pint) keg from next Saturday (10th November).  This is in addition to the 10 and 19 litre kegs already available. 

To ensure the beer reaches you as fresh as possible, we will only be filling a few of the new party kegs per week, so either arrive early or reserve a keg at the shop or by emailing jeff@lovibonds.com

5 Great New Places to try Lovibonds beer:

Heston Blumenthal’s Hinds Head Hotel in Bray.  In Heston’s search for the perfect pint, he has chosen draught Henley Dark and Henley Gold to complement the fine food and other craft beers on offer at the Hinds Head. 

The Red Lion in Henley has been serving Henley Gold on draught since summer time.  Last week they asked us to install another draught font so that they could also offer their customers Henley Amber.

Antico Restaurant in Henley, a true hidden gem, has chosen Henley Amber and Henley Dark in bottles to provide their customers with a local alternative to the Peroni.

Westholme Stores in Goring-on-Thames has added our three bottled beers, Henley Amber, Henley Gold and Henley Dark to their line-up.  If you haven’t been to see Jack and his unbelievable beer selection, you are missing out.  Jack has hundreds of bottles of British, European and American craft beer.

The Bird in Hand, Reading, is now serving our Henley Dark and Henley Gold in bottles.  This pub was recently named CAMRA pub of the year for Berkshire.

Upcoming Events for your diary

23^rd November - Open Day

We will be opening our doors on Friday 23^rd November, 10:00-19:00 to thank all of you that have supported us.  Some special beers will be on offer and Boris Johnson will be taking a break from the campaign trail to have a few pints with us.

7^th December – Henley Christmas Night

Once again we will be having a stall at this year’s Henley Christmas night.  Free samples of our beers will be available plus an opportunity to buy our gift packs and merchandise.  This year our stall will be located in the Market Place at the front of our premises.
