We will be opening our doors to the public starting Saturday September 15 from 10:00 - 18:00.  You can come in and try a free sample while you have a look at some of the brewing history we have uncovered.  You will also be able to take away beers in 3, 8 and 24 packs as well as some Lovibonds merchandise.

Online Ordering for Delivery

For those of you that cannot make it to our shop in Henley, you have the option of ordering Henley Gold and Henley Dark for delivery from our local online partner surf4beer.co.uk.

Henley Amber

We've chosen to rename the Henley Bitter to Henley Amber, to follow the colour theme of the rest of the beers.  The recipe for the beer remains the same and bottles of Henley Amber will be available for the opening day.

Hop Harvest

This year's hop harvest is well underway.  We look forward to this time of year as this is the only time a brewer gets to use hops fresh from the bine.  Once again we have chosen to use the Henley Amber recipe as a base for this year's fresh hopped beer.  On Friday I drove to Kinston Bagpuize to the only hop grower left in Oxfordshire and gathered up 20kg of hops that were minutes from the field.  Within a 3 hours the hops were added to an awaiting kettle.  The fresh hopped version of Henley Amber should be available by the second week of October.

Passing of a Legend

On August 30, the Beer World lost one of its founding fathers, Michael Jackson.  Michael tirelessly promoted world craft beer through his writings, television series and appearances.  He was responsible for thousands of people discovering that there is more to beer than just ale and lager...including yours truly...Cheers Michael!
