FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Source: Lovibonds Brewery Ltd Malt and Hops Back in the Henley AirOctober 2, 2005 Henley-on-Thames Residents of the small town of Henley-on-Thames, England have noticed something special in the air lately. Once again sweet malt and earthy hops fill the mid-morning air as new startup Lovibonds Brewery continues Henley's brewing tradition. Founder Jeff Rosenmeier explained, "Brewing didn't technically cease in Henley with the closure of Brakspears in 2002. I've been brewing in Henley since I moved here 1997." Jeff formed Lovibonds Brewery Ltd in 2005. The brewing bug bit Jeff in 1994 after tasting a friend's home made beer. Jeff immediately bought a kit and discovered a hidden passion. Since then, Jeff has devoured nearly every piece of literature on brewing and generally allowed the hobby to get completely out of control. Described by some as a beer snob, Jeff reminisces, "I used to be able to tell how many minutes Brakspears were into the boil by the mix of malt and hops rising up the hill in Henley. Henley has brewing at the core of its heritage and we are proud to carry on the tradition." When asked if Lovibonds will attempt to replicate the world famous 3.4% bitter of old, Jeff states, "Our OHB is an excellent 3.4%, full flavoured session bitter with a good balance of malt and hops reminiscent of pints of old." Other beers in the lineup include Henley Gold, a 4.2% refreshing golden ale and Lovibonds Lager, a 5.0% continental lager. Lovibonds Brewery is a small craft brewery in the historic town of Henley-on-Thames, founded by Jeff Rosenmeier. Lovibonds brands include Henley Gold, a 4.6% golden ale, Henley Dark, a 4.8% porter and Henley Amber, a 3.4% session bitter. For more information, visit
