Henley Gold, a new locally crafted beer is on sale at the renowned Start Bar. Henley Gold is the creation of Henley brewer, Jeff Rosenmeier. Henley Gold is a refreshing 4.2% golden ale brewed with some long forgotten techniques and a complex bill of English and continental hops. Jeff said, 'Henley Gold has been inspired by many sunny afternoons on the river in Henley. It is a full flavoured, locally crafted alternative to the big industrial beers that will be flowing this weekend.' Jeff formed Lovibonds Brewery, a small craft brewery, in Henley-on-Thames after choosing to follow a hobby that had been consuming his spare time for over a decade. Jeff began brewing when a friend dazzled him with a home made stout over 12 years ago. A computer scientist by degree, Jeff's successful career in software engineering and management consulting brought him to the Henley 10 years ago, where he has since started a family. Henley Gold can be found at the Start Bar, next to the start of the race course throughout the Regatta weekend. Henley Gold and other Lovibonds beer can be found at local free houses and festivals. Lovibonds Brewery is a small craft brewery in the historic town of Henley-on-Thames, founded by Jeff Rosenmeier.
