Both Rebellion Brewery and Lovibonds Brewery were on hand allowing festival goers to taste free samples of their hand crafted beers. Founders and Head Brewers were also on hand to discuss the finer points with thirsty residents. Rebellion Brewery showed off its Christmas seasonals like the 4.2% Sleighed and 4.6% Roasted Nuts. Co-Founder Tim Coombes said, "This night is really all about giving back to those that buy our products throughout the year. It's a great start to the Christmas festive season." Lovibonds Brewery took the opportunity to introduce themselves to area residents and also released its latest creation, Henley Dark, a rich 4.8% ale inspired by 18th century Porter. Head Brewer and Henley resident Jeff Rosenmeier said, "We had a perfect night to release Henley Dark. The rich chocolate flavour cut through the damp chill and was appreciated by all that tried it." Both breweries will be on hand again next year, promising to offer a taste of their normal range as well as one off Christmas specials. Lovibonds Brewery is a small craft brewery in the historic town of Henley-on-Thames, founded by Jeff Rosenmeier.
